Storytelling AI
for Real World Video
ShortTok's AI empowers users to quickly create short videos tailored to their exact preferences. We transform traditional one-size-fits-all videos into bespoke stories.

Video Stories on Demand

Content owners can unlock the hidden story potential across their live streams and archives by creating entirely new video stories from their media, opening up altogether new revenue streams.

How It Works

Users simply ask for a story about a topic, and ShortTok's AI instantly curates and composes the most relevant video clips and photos into an engaging short video story — the exact story they asked to see.

Real-World Stories

We use only real-world videos and photos sourced from our partners' live streams and archives, ensuring factual storytelling and reliable narratives. No generative videos. No hallucinations. No fantastical imagery.

Why We Built ShortTok

We believe premium real video is being rebuilt from first principles.

For decades, video has been created, packaged, distributed, and monetized as a fixed asset: a program, a segment, an interview, a game, a livestream. Once produced, it remained what it was. Audiences searched for it, channels scheduled it, platforms recommended it, archives stored it.

That model made sense when video was scarce and intelligence was human.

Neither is true anymore.

The next era of premium real video will not be defined only by more content. It will be defined by the ability to transform that trusted footage into personalized stories for everyone - at a scale never possible before.

As synthetic media proliferates, trusted real video becomes more valuable, not less. Real, rights-cleared, verified video is no longer just content. It becomes a scarce, trusted substrate for real stories - elemental to how people understand and experience the world.

Livestreams and archives can now become continuously evolving story spaces. New footage no longer adds just another asset to a library; it updates existing narratives and spawns new ones. Stories are no longer produced once and distributed identically to everyone - they are assembled dynamically from trusted source material and refined as the world changes and audience needs evolve.

The cadence of real video changes as well. Video can now move at the speed of text - continuously reflecting what has just happened, what has changed, and what matters now.

Distribution changes with it. Instead of every viewer entering through the same homepage or feed, each receives a different window into the premium corpus - a continuously refreshed stream of stories most relevant to them, every story opening into the depth and provenance of the underlying content. All of it grounded in trusted real video, not synthetic generation.

And the economics change. An archive ceases to be a depreciating back catalog and becomes a continuously productive living asset. A livestream no longer ends when the broadcast ends; it becomes raw material for thousands of stories. One premium corpus serves editors, professionals, consumers, partners - and, soon, AI agents - each drawing different value from the same source of truth.

ShortTok exists to build the intelligence required for this future - to transform premium real video into a living medium that can be continuously understood, reshaped into stories, and personalized for every audience. We believe this future can dramatically expand the audience, utility, and economic opportunity of premium real video while preserving the authority and provenance of the organizations that create it.

Every platform shift looks improbable until, suddenly, it looks inevitable. This one is already underway - running quietly inside two of the most trusted newsrooms in the world.

Our work now is to carry it everywhere trusted real video matters.
